Jim, that's the same Best Buy story from a different rag that's been going around all week, including multiple postings here. BIOS, you know?

Have you posted about the Micron Electronics need to get a new mobo, at 98 days lead time (if that works), to make the 760 chipset + Athlon combo to work, over on the mod squad thread?

Wrong.

HP is recalling some PCs with Pentium 4's and BIOS problems.

The P4 has not been recalled.

Anyhow, thanks for reposting this - I had more or less forgotten about it after reading the prior 8 posts from your rich AMDroid buddies.

Good thing you don't own much Intel - I hope your AMD is keeping you in riches.
