you don't need the big banks to FAIL to make money shorting them...geez, you're stubborn when it comes to the banks...-g- whether the debts can be taken care of via inflation is open to debate. normally a debt mountain like this collapses in a deflationary manner. however, deputy chief clown Poole already hastened to re-assure us that the Greenspud put is still in place...in the process no doubt destroying a few REAL puts... big block buying of QQQ calls today btw.
