I heard that figure on the radio and I am pretty certain it was during the weekend, so it probably reflects Friday's revenue. What you decide to buy or not to buy is your business. Maybe we should blame you for Gateway's earnings. If I am remembering correctly, you notified us of your aborted PC buying plans when the Nasdaq was off of its low of the past several months. As I keep reminding you, this drama would be over with if the parties involved would have gotten together and done the right thing from the get-go. Namely, recount the entire state with standards ruled on ahead of time. If you think the Florida legislature deciding the election will settle this stuff down, think again. They say the market runs on two emotions - greed and fear. I believe it, and have made decisions based on both in my investing career. Maybe you should blame yourself for being a little too greedy and not cautious (fearful) enough with money earmarked for new PC's for you and your son. I sympathize, because I am in the exact same boat. I would also like a new computer but I won't take the money out of the market at these prices. (If I had the money I would probably make do with my 200 mhz and sink the cash into the market now.) You might have to buy your new computers in January when all of this gets decided. OTOH, January might roll around and we will see no recovery, pointing to the fact that Rob may be right and the market only needed the excuse to make the inevitable correction. It still amazes me how you can see only one side of this recount event. It is because of people like you, both Republicans and Democrats, that it is happening in the first place.
