Jim.. that plan of GOre's sounds good.. except for 1 flaw: there wouldnt be enough conservatives in this country to ship down to FLorida for the equivalent # of Democrats crossing the border :)

And I already know Canadians would like Al Gore, Jim.. I posted a poll on here from one of Canada's national newspapers a week or so before your election, which stated that if given the choice to vote for the current candidates, 50% of Canadians would vote for Al Gore, while only 29% would vote for Bush.

Jim.. to illustrate the inequality of shipping Dems this way to Canada and right wingers to the USA.. read this rather amusing quote from a columnist in the National Post.. one of the main right wing conservative papers in Canada (tho just bought up for 50% by a prominent Liberal.. so it should moderate its tone somewhat)

Mark Steyn
National Post
"The day after the U.S. election, with Dubya clinging to
victory by a hanging chad, Rush Limbaugh, the king of
conservatives, told his audience: "Maybe there are fewer of
us than I thought." Rush has 22-million listeners. Today,
after the Canadian election, I must regretfully inform you,
the loyal reader (I use the singular advisedly): There are
definitely fewer of us than I thought.
If 10% of Rush's listeners were to move to Ontario, the
Liberals would be history. By contrast, if 100% of Canada's
right were to move to America, we could all squeeze into
Ken Whyte's Honda Civic and drive down to South Carolina,
where we could ask Jesse Helms if he needs anyone for casual
yard work."
