Naw, its never funny. It looks better in the rear view mirror though. I remember 1987 and telling my boss and his boss that the Dow was down (I forget how many points). We found a TV and watched in amazement. It seems such a distant memory -- no pain at all associated with it. Think of this as the terror you feel when you are going down the steepest part of the rollercoaster, and remember that the rails will bend up at the end.
