Every economic era is afflicted by it's own uniquie curse.....

The Old Economy business cycle has been replaced by the New Economy 'tech cycle': longer expansions, followed by deeper and harsher recessions. On the upside, innovation and economic growth reinforce each other. More money spent on innovation means faster low-inflation growth. Faster growth and a rising stock market increase the incentives to invest in innovation....
But when a downturn starts, watch out. The powerful forces that have made the New Economy so dynamic will begin moving in reverse-first slowly, then faster and faster....

sorry, i didn't see this in time...i sold 1/2 of my index puts near the lows when they began to ramp the spoos. kept the other half just in case the cycle low comes on Dec. 4/5, which is another cycle cluster of importance.
