Unfortunately, I don't know enough about the error messages to say for sure, but I have encountered kernal32 errors before, both on my own machine and clients, and in each of those cases upgrading the kernal solved the crashes. As I understand it, the kernal contains base programming for windows (I'm sure my terminology is off) -- kind of the first group of code Windows uses (in a layered onion analogy it would be the center). Kernal errors can indicate a memory leak -- a situation that can eat up your system resources and impact overall performance. Microsoft puts out updates for various different parts of Windows, including this file. It might not be the answer, but in my experience it has stopped the kernal32 crashes...
