Ted, curious as to your reasoning about CPQ maybe not being a very good bet right now. Overall tech malaise, or other? Tony, Its not company specific....I think CPQ is halfway thru its turn around. However its the overall tech malaise as well as the ugliness of GTW's warning. They don't see things improving for 6-8 mos if that. This totally contradicts GTW's previous guidance. These captains of the tech industry can talk about the channels all they want but I beginning to believe that they have very little future visibility, And if the boxmakers are mostly blind, what does that say about the AMDs and Intels who are the component suppliers? I have been burnt badly (as have all of us) in the past few months by poor guidance on the part of these tech companies. J.J of SSB was right and was crucified for his position because the chip companies said he was full of sht. Well, from where I am sitting, it looks to me like the sht is on the Naz and J.J. made a very prescient call. Bottomline......I am out of tech until it starts to make sense again. ted
