Yeah, I've been thinking that we're days away because the downward momentum was accelerating. The bonds reacted like they should in a disinflationary environment, so now I think we're seeing the "re-liquification" phase in fixed-income, which The Fed will follow like night follows day.

I think the downside in these sectors is becoming quite limited by this. I have no idea what the mechanical aspects like tax-loss selling and forced selling is left, and it's pre-announcement season now. However, a couple major lows (1974 and 1994 come to mind) occured in the early days of December.
