What rights are those?

The right to be screwed, blued and tatooed by an attorney?

Jesus said it best, to paraphrase..."Don't be like the scribes, they lay heavy burdens on mens' backs and won't stoop to help them with one finger."

To others, tort reform is a question of protecting people's rights of freedom from harrassment and financial ruin caused by utterly frivolous litigation, which is often filed just for those purposes.

I will agree that the proponents of tort reform can be just as bad as the opponents of it. The pendulum must rest in the middle, otherwise one side or the other is getting screwed.
