Wait a sec. I voted for Gore. I didnt make him spoil. And Big Time aint so bad. You are right about W though. The Republicans had a dozen governors to choose from and they chose him. But would you agree that Gore should get out of the way? And perhaps Bush instincts toward moderation will create an american form of coaliton government that might work? Remember, gridlock worked because budget balancing and debt reduction was a good enough solution. What we need now are some targeted(not gore targets) middle class tax cuts to get the demand side rolling + some drug relief for seniors and some free drugs for we suffering intc holders. Balancing the budget will feed the decline imo.

He didn't hang out in the frat house, drank beer with the boys, and skipped classes so he can let the likes of Cheney, Lott, and Delay tell him what to do. He always had these guys around to shine his cowboy boots, do his term papers, and get copies of old exams. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Albert would probably have done pretty much the same things, if he had more time on his hands, and didn't have to recreate "Love Story" with Tipper. You have to hand it to both of these guys. They have, unbelievably gotten all us poor folks to identify with one or the other. Pretty funny when you think about it. Mary
