I have some thoughts on AMZN. I am trying to understand why traders on here want to call stocks names like junk or trash or they like to make fun of the CEO's and call them names. I advise any traders that see someone make comments like this to avoid their opinions at all times. Anyone who has to justify their opinion with some sort of derogatory comment really is not a very good trader. They are too emotionally insecure to trade stocks and therefore their opinion is worthless. I have seen traders on here that are the supposed "experts" on Silicon Investor make personal attacks on Jeff Bezos. Now I am sure Mr. Bezos could care less about being called names by some small time stock traders but I think those comments against him say alot about the people attacking him. Whether you like AMZN or not, no one can deny that it has changed the way the world shops. It was a brilliant concept and in that respect Jeff Bezos is a tremendous success. More than being a billionaire, Bezos has succeeded in starting a new economy and that will be his legacy. Anyone who makes a personal comment against him is just jealous and wishes that they could come up with an idea half as good. Believe me there aren't one percent of the people in this world that can come up with an idea that becomes that successful. So that brings us to the AMZN stock which is what most people on here care about. They could care less about anything other than if the stock goes up or down. Well, there is a very good reason that AMZN is going down, it is because the float is larger now. It takes more traders with alot more money to make the stock rise and then there will always be traders who love to short it. Therefore, the conclusion is that AMZN the company was a revolutionary company that brought a new economy to the world and it should be praised for that amazing achievement. Unfortunately, the stock will not be as successful because of many different factors. It might be worth a couple of nice trades in the future and I will always remember the money it made me in the past but it will never be the stock it once was. But the next time anyone who tries to tell you AMZN is junk or if they call Jeff Bezos names, just remember how worthless their opinion is because for every dollar they have made shorting the stock, there were millions of dollars made for many people who have owned the stock from the beginning.
