Jim: Our system wouldnt have the situation yours does.. for the reasons I already outlined for proposed reforms to your system. Besides.. I've been following your thread here even if I havent posted to it.. and I find it a stretch to blame the stocks getting trashed on the White House stalemate (and by your logic, Gore's willingness to fight on).. Blame it on Gateway's poor earnings.. a slow down in the tech stocks in general due to poor sales .. downgrades etc.. The election stalemate may contribute some.. but to blame the fall entirely on it is silly. I havent seen a single analyst or news report on this blaming it on the election.. (Perhaps you need to get into the analyst business and enlighten them/us all.. apparently from what I've seen, being an analyst means you can put forth any reasoning or ideas you want without fear of ridicule)
