WHO are they kidding?..........Bush supporters were behind the push in the GOP-controlled Florida Legislature to convene a special session to give the lawmakers the opportunity to appoint electors if the dispute is not resolved by the deadline. Rep. J. Dudley Goodlette, a Republican from Naples, said the move was not "about stealing votes" but rather to create "a safety net to ensure that Florida's nearly 6 million votes that were cast on Nov. 7 are counted on Dec. 18."
