in fact, I did exactly that.

For example, on CMGI, I bought March 10 call at $3 1/4 and sold March 15 call at $1 3/8. That means, I am betting long on CMGI, but my risk is minimal. In this case, they don't impose too much margin on my account, hopefully.

I did the same thing on MRVC, ICGE, and a few other.

I'd rather go on margin to trade my way out of a stock flat or with a small profit then just take a big loss. That's a handsome son dude, mine just turned 4 and is starting to give my wife a hard time. He either talks back or imitates Her when He is cranky, now He tells us we are not his best friend anymore when He gets angry at us.
