I've seen this before. A common shake-down, but I don't think it works with MacDonalds. I once saw this same scam done with a rat instead of a chicken head, and it was exposed as a fraud.

The 'victim' in that particular case was later arrested for murder (having killed her boyfriend, not the rat.) Some feminist friends of mine were totally fooled by this woman. A case of wanting to believe that a wolf is just a poor sheep that has been victimized by the Male Patriarchy Oppressor.

They appeared to learn something about human nature from the experience, and I heard less of the Mao's Little Red Book theory of life from them afterwards. And they really had been waving that stupid book around before this, I'm not exaggerating for effect.
