i think the time for pilot positions is drawing very close. note, bond options are very cheap...astoundingly so. if you manage to catch a trend, you can control huge amounts of underlying with a very small outlay. my biggest trading successes were in bond options in fact. keep in mind though, it all depends on how things ultimately shake out..if we get a deflationary downturn, bonds will continue to do well, regardless of my indicators (they have after all ignored them so far...luckily i did too, due to my bearishness on stocks). it may even be worth considering a straddle.
