Re: "I want to recount the whole state" and "The real emphasis should be on a full and fair count. Period! America deserves no less!"

Well, the real truth is that if you back Gore's efforts as they have existed from the beginning, you'll never get a statewide count. He is not seeking that. He said recently, not to get him wrong, he didn't want to do anything that would take a long time...just his requests, which we know are not akin to a full state fair count.

Tell Al to ask for it...I wish he had sooner myself. Don't hold up an informal extra-legal offer to Bush against Gore's actual requests in court from the start. You might realize Gore has done nothing to seek a fair statewide count, and that(he) is the problem if you truly want it done.

Bush was ahead. The man seeking a new count must be the one to request it be done with the fairness you recognize in your words above.

TP,
Read 'em and weep(for the VeeP).

About 55 percent said they thought the election process was
fair, the results were accurate and Bush really won.

If Al wanted what was fair, just answer me these simple questions:

Why didn't Al ask for a statewide hand recount when it was legal to do so? Why only four heavily Democratic counties?

It has never been about fairness, has it?

If you get that, I demand we recount the whole country, using the exact same standards!!! It's only fair, isn't it?
