You utterly missed the point. There's no basis in law for a state-wide recount in Florida. You guys talk about the rule of law, but I challenge you to tell anyone here on SI or to point to any provision that allowed for any Florida state-wide recount as suggested by Gore. Nada. None. It doesn't exist. As Gore might say, "There is no controlling legal authority." Now, do you have any question as to why Gore dropped out of law school? Get it? No, I suspect that you still don't understand. <edit> Please cite to me the provision that says either party can have a nationwide recount and who is to pay for it. You're making things up once again, I suspect.
