If you can read the NYT article and not see it as a source for the proposition that Ms. Harris had and has a conflict of interest, then we have nothing left to discuss on this.

Of course you are assuming that your interpretation of the NYT article is correct and that NYT is an objective source of information.

The fact is, both you and NYT have a horse in the race, so your interpretation of their article is nothing more than an opinion.
