Nadine, are you aware of when Palm Beach actually got around to certifying their recount? It wasn't Sunday, it was Wednesday after that Sunday. Check it out in the Palm Beach Post. It took Carol Roberts three more days to reconcile her recount. You've been reading too much DemoSpin. By the way, even the Dems in PB County are so fed up with her ineptitude, they've joined the Republicans in asking for her removal!

Nadine, she followed the instructions from the FLSC exactly.
They said if she was open on Sunday the recount submission deadline was 5pm. If she was not open on Sunday, then the deadline was 9am on Monday.

She had exactly one decision allowed her > whether to be open on Sunday or not. Once she stated they would be open on Sunday she had to follow FLSC 5pm deadline.

Our country is ruled by laws and court orders. Not discretion when it feels good. The SC ruling did not give discretion to Harris. In fact they took away all she had. They knocked her down which I am sure your side agrees with. Show me some where in there ruling were they ALLOW (ie- discretion) to accept a late filing. A point of interest. The initial PB count was all wrong due to their haste. The final audit wasn't finished until Tuesday showing a gain of 188. This is not the figure that would have been sent up Sunday evening. Not only did she rule as the SC forced her too, the rejection prevented Al Gore from having a State Certification that wrongly would have given him 30-35 more votes.
