First of all do you know Jerome has been suspended? What did he do other than that tiff with brian about you. My fight with brian was much worst. Below is a scathing attack of your views. I still would join you for a beer anytime as i would with jerome and brian. Censorship is bad. Who had him kicked off. Cary, About the election. You can count forever and each count will provide different results. It was a tie. BUT, Bush won the original and the recount. Under existing laws that should have been enough but it was so close. Did Gore apply for a recount statewide so every vote would be counted. No just dade, palm and broward. In broward he got an overcount based on dimpled chads imo. In Palm those folks missed an absolute deadline by 2 hours. Read the Fl. SC decision. Whose fault is that? And in Miami, contrary to dem charges, they decided not to count because they have a large republican constituency, particularly of already angry Cuban americans. Too bad Al. You took your best shot and lost. Now the democrats and you want more recounts or more disallowance of military or other absentee ballots or a new election in palm because of butterflys or whatever david boise can think of. Bush will be president. It doesnt thrill me. I actually voted for gore but I am a believer in the implicit rules that make politics tolerable unlike the clintonistas now inhabiting the ghorehouse. PS Tomorrow you can start demonizing Jeb. At this point Jeb is willing to call it a career to do the right thing with the electors as are many republican legislators who will be voted out for what they might do. Where is the courage on the democratic side--i submit there is none just sleaze. Mike PS Bush will most probably be a one-termer so you will have another shot soon.
