Gottfried,

I think there was more positive than negative during the
call. NVLS repeatedly made a fuss about the fact they
are positioned at the fore-front of semi-equip technology
and a downturn, if it came, would affect them less than
competitors. NVLS stock reacted positively afterhours to
the call. NVLS also suggested that Hundai delayed an order
due to financing difficulties. If this is the whole story,
then it is not of much concern. Of course, the delay might
forewarn of a genuine slowdown. However, the total bookings
for NVLS still look quite strong for Q4.

If anyone can comment about NVLS copper interconnect
technology vs competitors, that would be interesting.

G.,

Note that Rick Hill was talking about an order that he expected to take during the current quarter being deferred to next quarter. IMO, this is different from pushing out an existing order. Not much, but different.

When Rick first uttered the word Pushout, the price of NVLS fell to $23.50; during the call it peaked at $27.98. Generally, very positive outlook for NVLS.

Ian.
