I agree. On January 1st we have a new tax year and hopefully a new president. That will reset the clocks for the markets.

Now if we only knew how xmas sales are going to turn out.

What makes you think MANY are still short after today? :-) Most shorters are more savy than you people give them credit for. Most take what the market will give them and are not stupid enough to try and get the last 1/8 like some of the "I am in love with this stock" people.

What do you think caused that rally off the lows today? Do you think that was J6P buying? Nope. I big chunk of it was short covering. :-)
