Kash,

I saw Asshok Kumar on CNBC a few days ago when he was trying to talk up Intel. It was amazing how identical his arguments were from last year. He talked about a seasonally weak first half with low growth, but that everything would be great in 2H, 2001. That's exactly what he was saying at the end of last year and all through this summer. Finally, he had to downgrade when it was obvious that Intel was going to have a crappy 2H. The little chimp is trying to pull the same crap again! Does he really think we all have such short memories??? I remember posting a message earlier this year about this, and asked what would happen if Intel didn't have a great 2H (as we knew on this thread). Well, they didn't, and the stock got cut in half. With Intel's margins shrinking next year (fab building and capitalization, and ASP erosion), Intel will likely get cut in half again. But, Kumar has the guts to come on TV an mislead small investors into thinking that Intel will retest their recent highs within six months. There should be some form of legal accountability for these guys.

Pravin.
