I looked through all the threads on SI to see if someone had thought of "Hidden Values" before but could find none. Barron's did an article recently on the stock holdings of Alliance Semiconductor, and it's on my list. But I haven't personally reviewed it. Your descriptions of each stock and its holdings are a bit terse. I can't quite understand. Would you mind expanding a bit? It is incredible that SBLU is now trading for 2/3 of its combined UMC stake and cash/cash equivalents per share. I remember reading of Warren Buffett discovering that Boeing was selling for less than the value of its planes in construction in 1974.
