Tommaso, I have an article entitled "Curse of the Wind Turns to Farmers' Blessing" a November 26th article from the New York Times Website:
nytimes.com

I myself also work on a number of wind projects, or maybe better stated represent landowners mainly and also some smaller wind power companies.

Projects are going in at a pretty good pace out in the wind belt of the high plains. The projects cannot completely replace gas turbines and never will since gas turbines can be turned on and off at a command.

Wind power depends upon the whims of the wind- i.e., energy, but no capacity. However wind power projects are competitive with NG at current NG prices and even lower.

So it would be reasonable to expect wind power projects to continue to be cited anyway...
