Inner City problems can be solved very fast. Give tax cuts to employers and employees alike. Reduce interest rates which are an unfair tax on employers for hiring employees. Give people jobs that pay well enough to be proud of, and America wins.

You have to start with the heart. These folks have had so much despair and hopelessness by those who claim they are helping. This must be removed. After that, you don't need no stinking tax cut, break, hand up or hand out. The evidence is in, that way does not work without first working on the hopelessness and despair.

"But the democrats don't see it that way. They see inner city folks as incapable of doing anything about their plight. I disagree."

I agree with your disagreement. It almost looks like the democrats reinforce this myth to their constituants for their own good. I know the dems don't see it that way, but just by telling a group that you have to have affirmative action to succeed encourages this. I would say "Hell no, you don't need affirmative action. If you run into an injustice let us EXPOSE it and FIGHT it. It is illegal to discriminate, and most good business operators want the most qualified people regardless of color. I feel that if you force someone to hire you it actually adds to the animosity of the situation.

Anyway I have rambled with my example.
