I used to love COVD...it made me a lot of money. Then I began to hate COVD, and it was one of the few places where I made the right decision to get out in time. I now LOVE COVD again. I think that the negativity surrounding DSL has reached the same absurd extremes of the euphoria in the early spring. I think that COVD's screwup coming out of the gate is fixable. I think there is risk here but I agree that the stock is probably not going to zero. I should note that NPNT's bad news really translates into good news for COVD. I think you can buy COVD's debt or common and walk out a big winner. It's at times of max fear that opportunities are made. I'm gritting my teeth and buying. Everybody and his brother is betting against this company (check out the short position)....I'm taking the contrary position.

Peter, actually, if stocks like RTHM, NPNT, CMTN etc. are totally disappointing, announced buyouts (NPNT, VZ) don't pan out etc. then this industry is really worth not much. Can be that it is tax loss selling, but it is good possible that these companies never succeed.... it somewhat reminds me on "pager" companies (PAGE, ARCH/APGR some time back),... no money on the bottom line.
