True. I loved my Federalism class. I made an "A" in it, not only an "A" but the highest "A" in the class. Tulane Law School professors give an asterisk to the highest "A", and I got the asterisk. I also made "A"s without the asterisk in Constitutional Law, Constitutional Criminal Procedure, and Admiralty, which, as you may know since you are on the Pacific coast, has a lot of federalism issues.

I have a half-completed law review article on federalism issues in Admiralty tucked away in a box, never to be completed, I don't think. It had to do with the complex tests used by federal courts to determine when state law applied to a boating accident and when admiralty law applied. (The premise at the time was the "hit-the-tanker" test for application of admiralty law, but maybe you had to be there.) I guess I should mention that I was an editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Review and have an LL.M. in Admiralty Law (with distinction).

I am telling you this to let you know how hard I am willing to work to understand these issues, which may indicate to you how much fun I am having. Only another lawyer can understand how hard work equates with fun.

Sigh, you and Coby probably believe in the Easter Bunny, too. Our Rulers wave at the Constitution, the separation of powers, federalism, and then rule by fiat. Deallll with it.
