Would you bet $50 million on GE if you thought the Dow was going down much farther?

And how do we know that was not short covering?

Or, an automatic scaling in by large funds that by their very nature, pretty much always have to buy when things are going down?

I propose to you that its impossible to know what is driving the person on the other side of the trade. Charts are so much simpler. Did it break support and move back up? Probably a buy. Pierce resistance and move back down? Probably a sell.

If, then, else, set stop losses in place, and go.

There, no conspiracy theory required and the requisite time associated with such thinking endeavors!

cheers
