Milo, John I too have a boatload in my IRA. In retrospect, it is a good thing that the retirement account rules most brokerages use are so restrictive. They helped me greatly from screwing myself trying to outsmart the market. If I compare the performance of my core long holding in my 401k/IRA account vs. my trading account, it is like a day and night. My retirement account is slightly below water for the year (my basis is between 18 and 20), but my trading account is in a pathetic shape. Joe
