I sincerely hope that whatever the ruling of the US SC, the opinion is unambiguous and will be accepted by all. I firmly believe they took this case because they witnessed legislation by the FL SC. Should it go against Gore(as I believe it will), I hope he is able to put the country before his own personal ambition.

We know at least 4 members of the court had strong feelings about the overreaching of the FLA SC and decided to accept the case. We do not know if more than 4 had these strong feelings. Whether they can muster up 5 votes for a precedent setting case is the question of the moment.
