Why would I be in denial? If anything, I'd love it if X-Box had a chance to succeed. But my doubt is just way too much.

Why not? It wouldn't hurt.

I've heard the argument that games will be easier to develop for X-Box compared to Sony PSX2. That'll definitely be a plus, along with the nice hardware specs. But I still don't think that'll be enough to overcome the huge headstart that Sony PSX2 has. Even now, there are more and more titles being released for the original PSX, and that has absolutely horrendous hardware specs. How is PSX still getting so much support? Massive mindshare. And that's what PSX2 will have going for it.

Like I said before, as an INTC investor, I'd love it if X-Box can win out. Yet I remain skeptical.
