I couldn't agree more. The support of Gore appears to be getting stronger while Bush's may be floundering. The old platitudes aren't carry the weight they were a few days ago and the major networks are becoming very critical of the information that Bush surrogates are providing. Tonight on CNN they examined Bush's numbers re: the undervote. They basically called Bush a liar and showed that Gore's numbers are right on the money. I know this will only fuel the "Clinton New Network" claims of the far right, but they walked through the calculations and it made a lot more sense than the silliness we've seen here. It may be up on the CNN web site, it would be worth it to have a look.

WRT to the Florida Legislature, I'm not sure if they realize how much damage they will do the GOP if they proceed. It makes you wonder how they ever got elected with such poor political instincts. Like you, I think it would be quite entertaining.
