That's why I always re-run my model the next day before initiating a position. I've done some sensitivity to the idea that we may see some reversal of money flows to test the assumption of short covering, but frankly, I think shorts have to be crazy to be in a market where a presidential outcome could come at any time. Frankly, it may also be crazy to be long in this market too. Pay attention to my noon post as the model is seldom wrong except at key turning points. If this is just a stop on the way and the MomentuMonkey model does not improve to NEUTRAL, I will likely take an aggressive bearish position. If not, it is very unlikely to get a buy signal, or even close. With a NEUTRAL, I will remain on the sidelines. Of course I wish you and J.T. luck in your long position.
