Bob, "Done" and "Thanks". I see he hasn't posted since 3/99. Seems to still be reaping the fruits of SI mining.

~3Mb spam isn't even good huckster/salemanship! Gotta keep it short and sweet for effective presentation. Investors in general (and penny stock investors especially) won't/can't be bothered with the 'War and Peace Meets Les Miserables' version of "CALL YOUR BROKER NOW!!!!!" I don't mind a spammer (in a Y2K+ world, I disappointedly suppose we have to tolerate them). But I object to an inept one!

BTW, that's a wonderfully efficient tip you have on the "[this_site}@[mydomain]" method. Easier than my current one&#151I'll start using that.

"Registering your own domain name is extremely useful for that kind of stuff. On any site that I join, I use a format of [sitename]@[mydomain.com] to make it easy to figure out where spam is coming from."

Do you have to run your own mailserver for that to work?
