The girls were at least five before they began to suspect, and even in their teens insisted on calling the Easter Bunny and having the old trail set up for them. Traditions are so special.

Yah. I began giving my nieces stuffed animals for Christmas when the oldest one was maybe 3. When she entered college I supposed she wouldn't be interested in another one, so I gave her clothes. Alas, a mistake, she felt like I was violating tradition. Fortunately I keep a stash of bears, lions, cougars, walrusi, otters, und so weider, and was able to rectify my error in short order.
