Isn't this bizarre? No one knows what's going to happen. I watched the spin today and saw legal problems for the Dems and major PR problems for the Repubs. Gore may be out of time but he is scoring big by making Bush "refuse to count the votes" by winning. And he's got a 50% very good point. gg Now people are talking about congress as a next battleground. Tom DeLay (who controls the GOP side and willing to fight dirty) against - who? - the Supreme Court maybe? We'll see tomorrow. Leiberman and Cheney are looking like better candidates than their bosses. Both more credible. I don't agree with Cheney's views but I do admire him for his calm authority. I have even started talking like him a little on business calls. And it works. This is influenceing us all. Ballots being trucked up to Tallahassee. Why truck if if you're not going to count them all? Maybe that as well as a Palm Beach recount will decide the election. Looking at 2-3 more weeks. Christmas maybe. The spin. The GOP pulled a beaut today getting Ashcroft on and having him say that the reason he didn't contest in Missouri was that he respected conceding quickly as good for the country. What a move. Nice. Actually he just lost and would look like an ass attacking a widow of a hero. He would have lost anyway. Congress. Basically tied when you add in the few liberal Republicans and Independents. Senate - tied. Whoever wins - will only have four years unless they shine, and neither will. The market - today at the low was the best time to buy all year. Peak of negativity. Tons of cash on the sidelines. Stocks like Apple selling at near cash value. Amazing. Tomorrow also a great day to buy. My IFMX went up 35% today and you can expect moves like that for the REALLY beaten down gems like NOVL, UIS, LU and IBM too. IBM the most conservative buy for you conservatives. It's at its bottom now and makes 13 bill a year guaranteed. Falling dollar good for it. UIS too. LU might be the most undervalued stock in the world though. Imagine what they could achieve once they start executing again. In maybe a year or so. What a turnaround possibility. NOVL too. Down from 40 to 5. I wish I had more cash. Damn.
