NPNT -- from the looks of things this morning, there might have been some merit to buying and holding. Just saw some pre-market trades for 11/16.

Been doing some research all week after market close. One thing I noticed is that many stocks that started their advances last year... penny stocks that is, began their advance during the first second or third trading day after the first of the month.

I took a position today in TVCP to add to the buy/hold/wait/see portfolio.

Earlier this year, I discussed this with several people... The thought of trying to buy stocks of real companies on the OTCBB at the time that the stock is right at or within a penny or two of the 52 week low.

I will continue this...

For now, most of my cash has to remain ready for big NASDAQ stocks.

But, watch the pennies closely over the next month... they WILL begin to move out of the mud on the bottom.

Hi Wayne, well I went to a holiday party at the US Capitol Building Friday night. Kind of a different place to hang out for an evening, lol. I was half expecting to see thick white lines down the hallways -- with signs on one side marked "Republicans" and signs on the other side marked "Democrats" -- and high school hall monitors enforcing it !! <ggggg>

Security was real tight. The US Capitol actually has its own police force; I'm guessing there must have been 100 of them around. Strangely enough, we pulled up to a guard booth, and they let us park within the Capitol Grounds. Verrrrry unusual.

We parked in between the Capitol and the Supreme Court Building. It was floodlit by media cameras and equipment. And of course there were people protesting or chanting or something.

If you're not familiar with Capitol Hill, as it turns out, the Federal Reserve Building is right next to the Supreme Court. So I'm thinking -- this stuff is in front of the wrong building !! It should all be one building over with people chanting "Rate Cut, Rate Cut, Rate Cut !!!!" lolol

Speaking of gloom and doom, here is a link that fits in line with your capital preservation theme. Notice they seem to like the weekly NASDAQ chart too. Hmmmmmmm:

Yikes !!!!!!
