Only Bill Bennett has said Lieberman has sold out. And he's no one to talk, a hypocrite for attacking Gore and Lieberman in the first place, two men whose views he agrees with on morality in media. Ditto McCain when it comes to campaign finance reform. Gore and Lieberman are amongst the most conservative-progressive Democrats. Bill Bennett has nothing on them and when he tries to lecture them like he lectures everyone else he comes off as a hypocrite.
By the way changing views (aka selling out) as a VP is exactly what Bush Sr. did when Reagan picked him. You never heard another word about "voodoo economics" (which in fact Bush was right about and did lead to huge deficits, national debt and eventual recession).
