Monty: The CEO was selling because he had a prudent plan which is a no loser. With the ESOP, he gains enough options to replenish the stock he sold. If the stock goes up he has options to exercise. If it goes down, he made enough money selling some of his stock. Winner either way. It is the blind investors who did not raise their voices about the ESOP and kept on paying sky rocketing prices for the stock, who has to blame themselves.
This company is still a good LT play though.
