I would go for ADI and TXN, both are on the edge of another tornado (this doesn't mean tomorrow though). AMD is pretty much a value play as far as I can tell. INTC, probably a buy. Not familiar with MCHP.

I don't think that the PC market is dead, but I think that LT growth will be more linear as other internet appliances displace the demand. Of course, there will be some cyclicality as older units become obsolete and are replaced.
