Thanks, TLC. I will definitely watch the RSI this morning to see if it triggers the double hump buy signal. I've been thinking that the Naz will rally next week but we may well start today.

Good advice to the long term holders as well. Very smart and caring, just like the chicken I know and love.

I've talked to many long term investors in the last week. People with very large amounts of money in the market. They all asked me one question, should they sell and get out and not take any more damage. They have all been crushed by the action in the last 4 months. I take this as a strong sign that they have capitulated. I told them all that selling at a bottom is the wrong thing to do.

In general I tend to agree with you, obviously, each situation is certainly different. I will be posting an example of how margin can affect an account, (not finished yet), to Daffodill.

One has to really take a hard look at the type of investor each one of us is. Perhaps a separation of accounts as to funds that are "long term" and funds that are speculative or of short term nature, if we find that we can be both. Discipline to NEVER mixed them is an absolute.

I have found that the use and treatment of margin is not really understood by many. I will address this in the other post.

What I find very important to do is to stick to whatever method and accompanying discipline that it is required to follow such method we have chosen.

The above is made far more difficult if margin is in play.

Thanks for your input TLC.
