Gene - I can't believe this story hasn't got more play! Even on the QCOM thread. I think this is a sign everyone is close to burned out by the market. Obviously, QCOM's road becomes a lot easier now, in the sense that the picture is simplifying, and more and more people will jump on board.

I'm still surprised W-CDMA gets more nods than CDMA2000. This would be the last shoe to drop, and if the CDMA2000 starter sites can show they are less expensive to operate overall, which it seems like they will be, that should do it. As you point out tho, QCOM doesn't need to have the latter to be assured success, anyway.
