I've never been that involved with it. I have a rudimentary understanding of how to price stock and index options and how to fairly price the SP Futures off the Cash but with Bonds I've never even looked at the underlying.

Trading the Bond Futures for me has been a combination of technical analysis and Neural Net application. I do not physically trade Cash bonds, nor do I trade equities or their options any longer. So awareness of how that part of the structure works has not been necessary for me to know any longer.

Besides, for me trading Bonds is a high dollar investment. I do not have that sort of capital. So trying to study and understand it for me would be interesting but I would have no application. Sorry I cannot help.
