that's of course a possibility. also, about 150,000 long speculator spoo contracts are deeply underwater...some got shaken out yesterday no doubt, but considering how stubbornly they've clung to their long position (increased net long all the way down, averaging down), i think most are still in there, hoping. a decisive break of 1300 would make them puke methinks.
