true. but that is only natural...bear markets see an increase in the number of bears once they are universally recognized as such. which btw. makes the sentiment poll data all the more astonishing. Inv. Int. for instance: the rule of thumb used to be that a healthy bull needed about 45% bulls in that survey. now while a bull is raging, that number can go into the 50's without necessarily raising too much concern. the 60's mark bull market tops. but we're at 55% bulls NOW, in the middle of a bear....we should have between 30-40% bulls.
