gooch....at the present time, atml call writes aren't returning that much....at times you may purchase an issue like atml, that has little or no volatility factor....perhaps better to wait for a move up, above 12.5 - 13, which is where it was prior to the chip downgrades and consider writing 15 or 17.5 strikes....if you want to hedge, you may consider a downside stop loss in the 9- 9.25 area....

it has excellent fundamentals, positive forward growth prospects, production booked a year out, almost a bil cash on the balance sheet, and diverse product line....although weighted in flash memory.....

right or wrong, which will be determined over the next six months, atml is my largest long position....

time will tell, as chip companies begin to report, hopefully positive earnings.....just consider how altr warning brought down xlnx....
