accurate in what way? i think the thing that matters most w.r.t. these polls is historical consistency. apart from that though, the organizations conducting these polls are specialized in this field and have compiled them for decades. so there is a big historical reference data base for comparisons, and it can be assumed that they are reasonably accurate. of course, they only provide a quick snapshot, once a week. put buying has in the meantime picked up somewhat, presumably to hedge against a negative Supreme Court surprise.

p/c ratios are still complacent though...but not as extreme as they looked earlier. overall 0,54, OEX 1,29. big blocks of OEX puts crossing the tape...have unfortunately not been able to discern if they were sells or buys.
